👩🍳 Real food, made with love (and a bit of chaos)

Open Sauce Kitchen started the way a lot of good things do — with someone you love.

In my case, it was my dad. He wasn’t eating properly, and I was worried. So I started cooking extra meals for him while I was making dinner for my own family — things that would freeze well, heat easily, and still taste like something made with care.

It didn’t take long before others started asking for meals too. Friends, neighbours, support workers… and before I knew it, I was cooking for dozens of people each week — all just wanting good food that made life a little easier.

Now we deliver hundreds of frozen meals across the Gold Coast and beyond, helping families, older folks, NDIS clients, and anyone who just wants to eat well without the stress.


Our Food Philosophy

  • Made from scratch — in small batches, in our Gold Coast kitchen
  • Locally sourced — using Australian-grown ingredients whenever possible
  • Frozen fresh — so it’s ready when you are, no waste, no stress
  • No fluff — just good food that tastes like someone made it for you

How It Works

We cook every week. Meals are frozen, packed, and shipped out via courier on Thursdays and Fridays.

No need to be home at a certain time — your meals arrive frozen and ready for the week ahead.

You can order anytime from our menu range or check out This Week’s Specials — a few extra meals we cook fresh mid-week and freeze for dispatch.


Why “Open Sauce”?

Because nothing brings people together like food — especially the kind that spills over into conversation, laughter, and shared stories.
(And maybe also because “Closed Sauce Kitchen” didn’t have quite the same ring to it.)
